I started blogging back in the day when Myspace was an actual viable social network. That bygone era before Facebook was deemed Ruler of All Social Networks, and Myspace  became the advertising flyer attached to peoples’ Facebook pages that’s about as appealing as the inside of Rupert Murdoch’s brain on bad acid.

I can’t tweet. Or at least I won’t. Except maybe on the rare occasion when I sense that my twelve rabid Twitter followers are just salivating in…

(ATLANTA - 11 September 2011) Taking stock of ourselves is dirty work. But on a day like today, the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, it’s the best job we can undertake.



The attacks were ghastly and altering, changing our country’s composition down to its DNA. But what we did in response trumps even those dastardly deeds: we gave ourselves over to the very “evil” that attacked us in the first place.

Ten years and the pain is still strong.

A lifetime will not erase the memories of those who are gone.

The images will forever be etched in our minds.

Amazing what hate can do to mankind.

Left to dwell we could all give in.

Focus on the anger but sin is sin.

Let us forgive but never forget.

Revenge is not sweet but fills with regret.
