Autumn, Winslow and Me

Helping Hands - Support for the families of the Ft. Hood shooting victims

Hearing about the shooting that took place at Ft. Hood, Texas today brought the memories of losing a friend at Virginia Tech in 2007 crashing back into place. I am sick to my stomach at the atrocity of people shooting each other, but as Pres. Obama said, "It’s difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas. NaNoWriMo Update - Chapters 1-4!

Chapter One – Lucas

“Damn it,” Lucas exclaimed when he nearly tripped over Trooper, his three-legged chocolate lab while rushing around his small bedroom. “I’m never going to make it at this rate!”
