My Simple Brain
I had a dream my family was spread across land and sea
They were of every race and creed
Some as black as velvet night
Others as pale as the brightest sunlight
A vast bounty of mountains and terrain between
Still we can feel our hearts sight unseen
Providing care for the young and old
Giving food and shelter from the cold
Overcoming the depths of despair
With the love for one another we all shared
Just a dream that did not wake me with fright
Longing for safety as reality came in sight
Rather a dream that filled me with hope inside
That someday we would unite from far and wide
Turning our differences and circumstances
Into understanding and second chances
Making a world where no one lives in fear
A world where we’re all surrounded by those we hold dear
Just a dream I’m sure many have had
That is the only part that made me sad
A dream so simple yet so hard to obtain
Which makes no sense to my simple brain

I so love your words of love. The beauty of dreams is that they will manifest when they are fed and I believe our dreams and our hopes are all being fed healthy doses of love ... even when it seems the opposite, don't believe in despair ...keep feeding your dreams love.
