Your Input, Your City, Your Town

'Your Input'

What is a city's obligations to its residents? Whatever it can afford I suppose within the demands of said residents. You can go to any city council meeting anywhere, anytime and generally find only a handful of folks (if that) watching the proceedings. Unless of course there's a controversy stewing. Everyone wants to know about the controversy and some are quite… Continue

OUCH, OUCH, OUCH. I THINK I'VE SUFFERED A FEW WRITER BOOBOO'S. One of the suggested topics for this blog for the month has been the struggles a writer might experience along the journey. Okay. I'll go there. Maybe some writers don't experience ANY of these obstacles along the way but…

A Portrait of the Day

She wakes with a start this keeper of your mother , father, sister, brother. She stumbles to the bathroom still in half slumber. She runs the water in the tub lost in thought and no thought at all. The dark silence accompanies her to the car. She fiddles with the radio readying herself for the long ride.

Okay, Relax

Okay, relax. It's my choice

to fly by the seat of my pants

A few years ago, we took the famous Colorado Narrow Gauge Railroad excursion from Durango to Silverton-fifty-two miles of the San Juan scenic byway. The choices varied on how classed… Continue
