Writing Exercise by Sherry/Biography in Phrases Only

Our fellow member Sherry went to a writing class and received the assignment to write your biography in short approx 3 word phrases separated by commas. No complete sentences. She shared hers with us, and I thought I'd give it a try. Who else wants to put their whole life in a paragraph of phrases with us? Here's what I came up with ...

yellow fuzzie blankie, elephants, house full, nursery school piano, the way is always in the music, magnus chord organ, uncle vit's pipe, hello dolly on grandmom's kitchen table, mary poppins and howard johnsons, violin rebellion, blue mountains with smoke on the top, alcove bed, ellen's pool, big family at the bus stop, playing prairie, spaghetti, they go off to college, wish i were a walton, music heats up, love letters, san francisco and santa barbara, the high heeled shoes passion, the play's the thing, symphonies and shows, black skirts with white blouses, introductions to death, middle of the road talks indian style, breakfast room sessions, love in big houses, gone with the wind, big times in a little town, susquehana valley skyline, way too much Mass, brick buildings and brick walls, he drove a big blue oldsmobile, and she fell, the way back is always in the music, have something tough to tell you, the devil had a run, new zealand came and went, and the way back again was in the music, guitars and travellers, forget the italian , learn the spanish, teach the english, and then the best thing for a time, she had to go, lights out, and the way back again was in the music, the loud silent man's voice shouted and screams still, and after the rain the colors bloomed, a gathering, and the way is always in the music...

You've been a busy woman, Lisa! Need to read this real slow over two glasses of wine and then I think I'll really absorb everything. Your ending was spot on: the way is always in the music. Yes!

Okay, confuse me please. I'm really good at being confused. Do we submit this comment here? I did one on Facebook, but didn't check to see it here first.

Oh, I LOVE this.....what a cool challenge, I will have to try it soon. I remember once my son's teacher made the class bring in a shoe box and gave the kids little slips of paper and told them to write one word on each paper until they filled up the box with words that they thought described themselves--a fascinating exercise.....
