where creative minds can interact
To give an idea of our progress, I'm trying to post enough photographs of the various stages to really show the extent of our commitment to this project. As you can see from this shot, the kitchen and dining room are our main focus. We've taken out a hallway to expand the dining room and closed off 2 doorways and opened up a 6 foot arch in the wall between the former doorways. We also took out a stub wall in the kitchen and the resulting space change has transfigured these two rooms…

So, friends and neighbors! I am adventuring in the land of old home renovation and I'm here to tell you that the 'venturin' is extreme at times and always interesting. I will try to add a few photos every few days or so, but please bear with me as I am still attempting to complete some very essential projects before cold weather sets in. I had it all stored on my laptop and had even transfered(copied) it to a free standing hard drive to keep it a little safer. Well, apparently with that same hard drive hooked up to my computer, I had plugged in my Zune player overnight to charge and sync and during that time my entire library was mysteriously expunged from both locations.

This is a poem which I wrote many long years ago. To give it some context, I have had the frog in question following me around for all of my adult (not grown-up) life and it's orgins were back in my childhood. I was raised in Northern Minnesota not terribly far from where my father grew up. My mother was a southern girl from the state of Virginia and endured the northern climes, but we regularly vacationed in the south and were always surrounded by her large and loving family. My…
