ahhh, elle, how i wish i had gone. this is me putting together pieces of fought for images and artsy'ing up many of them, spacing them, etc. hopefully one day! i love matthew's song here. it kept giving me spatial images that i wanted to get from my head to video. i'm glad it worked. the song is so inspiring. the person who went to africa is the woman who co-wrote some of the lyrics with matthew, and her name is shannon. some of the lyrics refer back to an earlier song of matthew's called "speak to me", another beautiful song. ....as for the darker stuff, challenge on, elle! i'm game if matthew is! ..thanks, maryrose!!!

What a wonderful collaboration!  Matthew - love his voice, love his vision.  One of the great unsung singer/songwriters!  Lisa - how lucky you are!!  I've always wanted to go on safari (photo, of course!)!  Parts of Africa are still so mysteriously beautiful (or is that beautifully mysterious?).  What a wonderful adventure you must have had!

 

Thanks for putting your heads together on this one.  Now a request - more, please????  (I'd LOVE to see what you'd do with one of my favorite - translate, darker - MK tunes, Lisa!!  <laughing>)
