sometimes when i need faith the most, i start leaning on reason more than usual. what a pain in the neck that is. i'm not a person who leans on reason all the time. i appreciate reason, but i don't feel truth lies in it. but when life gets really dark, it's very tempting for me to want cold hard facts. that's when i want answers. and often that's when you get none....at least not right away. it's maddening for me. but faith by definition lies in the unseen, right?

Faith is always tougher for me when I need it to kick in. When faced with real trials, real situations requiring strength and answers it requires a lot of work on my part to summon it. I know others don't share it and that's fine Whatever gets you through the storm is a gift, whatever it is.
