your way back* haha....but I see you got my point. :) Not a problem, btw. We all have our moments, our days, our weeks, even our years sometimes. ;) And, we can all use encouragement, prayer, and a friendly smile! :)

Thank you Carissa. I appreciate that. Typed that on a whim. I normally have better impulse control. ^_*

Well, I will pray you find your back....out of that slump and seeing the future full of brightness!

Yeah, I know. I really don't want to go back. It's just me having a moment to wish that I did not have the weight of world on my shoulders. Truth be told my childhood was full of angst also but in a different way. The bill paying and the not being surprised by anything some days is what gets to me the most. I guess I wish to find something new and inspiring and to be able to look at something with fresh eyes. I think I finally understand the line in John Mellencamp"s song that goes "Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone".. I will find something beautiful and inspiring again but I am just in a slump.

Sometimes I wish I was a kid again, but then I remember everything else I had to go through to get to adulthood. I'd rather move forward. And look at the world today, think about how much better things seemed back then. It's not so easy growing up now....with everything the media tells you need to have and to be in order to be happy. It's really sad. I can only imagine what the world will be like when my son has children. Though, on a happier note....like I said in the beginning, sometimes when I remember being a kid....not paying bills, not worrying how I'd make ends meet, etc....yeah, the pressures of adulthood would be nice to escape sometimes. But all in all, I do NOT want to go back.

i was just about to say "me too". but i've witnessed more depth to experience by seeing more sides as a grown up. kids can be awfully black and white. but i sure do find it a challenge to not get cynical with age......
