Susan Herrick is a singer songwriter who has performed at Wiffledust, and someone I respect immensely. We were talking about the gulf this morning, and she spontaneously wrote this....I think it's brilliant and asked her if I could repost it. She said yes. Here it is:

still VAROOM
underneath the sea -
earth's womb
methane, carbons
... go kaboom
