Most amazing, for me, was that this followed a very treacherous drive through the storm! I had at last reached my destination when I was greeted with this incredible vista! I had to photograph it!

You wording on your response below is so appropriate, "Majesty", love the shades of purples like a blanket below the layers of blue with such a dramatic sky.  Excellent!

It really was a stunning vista and the light was just right.  What an amazing storm that was!  I had driven through it on my way into the mountains and this was what I saw when I arrived.  Nature's majesty, no?
