Thank you, Lisa.  Do you mean this particular writing, or information about the book, as far as sharing on my blog space?

It was my immediate response upon watching the video...some comes from a collection of writings I am publishing...and Drink the Liquid Sound of Wisdom.... Some from an old piece...years ago, but still in my heart, the rest, spontaneously in the moment as it was all thread together in one piece.  I guess simply it comes from my journey...as cliche' as that sounds.  Thank you so much for sharing that video.  She is doing a wonderful thing.

This is so beautifully and profoundly needed.
Would I know I were a "Loner"
had I not been told such?
Would I know conversation
with animals, birds, insects and trees
had I not walked, sat, slept with,
danced in their midst as one with them;
had I "known" I was "alone"---sole
human among them?
Would I have tasted the Liquid Sound
of Wisdom
had I always been surrounded
by choice libation of others' to drink?

My voice knows its peace
as I communicate among the
animals, birds, insects and trees;
as I speak through listening...
Where Mother Moon
can whisper through a
frantic moan
in a shaking forest
so the leaves beneath
lust not Spring nor Summer
But instead lie in Her arm
sleep, crying not, Fall
into a dream, drunk
from the milk in the delicate
Winter of her breast...
To rest in the Womb and drink the Liquid Sound of Wisdom...
