i'm SO glad you checked this one out, maryanne. matthew kahler is a part of wiffledust, and not only does he have that unique singing style, he's an outstanding songwriter. check out his song "something has to give" on here. if your eyes are dry, i'll be surprised! :-)

Okay call me weird but I hear the smoothness of James Taylor with a bit of Cat Stevens cadence but then I am an oldie but goodie myself and those two souls Taylor/Stevens were my guys way back in the day! Thanks for sharing so long ago but hey, I just got here!

i hear taylor, but i don't hear wilcox. maybe because i haven't heard wilcox in awhile. everyone says matthew sounds like james taylor...but that isn't what i hear first. i was just talking to another fan the other night about this. she has been listening to him since the 90's, and she feels that his voice has this other edge to it where she never confuses him with james. interesting...agreed about the arrangement. i like this better than randy's version.
