Chase Stone Barn - Archaeology of 1887 Farmhouse Cellar

The Town of Chase owns the 1903 stone barn and is restoring it to be part of our historic park. The barn was once part of a very large farm which included several out-buildings and a farmhouse that was built in 1887. Today all that remains is the stone barn. Before the town develops the park property we wanted an archaeologist to come in and excavate certain areas of the property and document its findings, including where the house once stood.
