where creative minds can interact
Dear Librarian,
Since I came into your library on a brief break from my hectic coaching schedule, I have thought of you when my mind had the chance to finally rest, which isn't often. I don't really remember your name, but your smile that reaches your eyes did make an impact on me. I appreciated the time you took to help me find books from the list I've been keeping, which is a lot more immense than I would like. I can't seem to stop myself from wanting to know more, even after finishing a huge book that took way too long to read. The female students I coach (yes, I coach women's basketball) always tease me for my love of reading, which is sad when you think about it, since we are at an institution of higher learning.
I've been renewing my books faithfully, which I'm sure you appreciate. I'm almost finished with the latest huge book. I'm not sure if I'll see you again, and my life is pretty full. However, I appreciated your help that day, and I think of you more than I wish I would. I've got way too much stuff going on! Did I mention that already?
Thanks again for your help, and your smile.
