Weesie had a meltdown 'bout a quarter after two.
Homer tried to comfort her but Weesie threw a shoe
Hit Homer in the solarplexus, then she blacked his eye.
When Homer caught his breath again ole Weese began to cry.
I know you never loved me and Myrtle is the proof.
I saw your cars at the local bars and now I want the truth.
Homer swore his innocence on a stack of bibles high.
Weesie was the only girl to ever catch his eye.
But Weesie still in meltdown mode was not convinced, and so,
She hired a detective whose name was Hound Dog Joe.
She knew he'd never loved her and Myrtle was the proof.
She saw their cars at the local bars and now she wants the truth.
The unsuspecting Homer went on about his way,
While Hound Dog Joe tailed Homer every single day.
Then one cloudy afternoon 'bout a quarter after one,
Joe found Homer at the no-tell motel having lots of fun.
She knew he'd never loved her and Myrtle was the proof.
She saw their cars at the local bars and now she had the truth.
When the evidence was gathered and the truth came down the pike,
It wasn't Myrtle after all, it was Myrtle's husband Ike.
