The Cave of Portents: Musings about Science and Philosophy
I wrote a short fictional piece back in 1999, called "The Cave of Portents" with the intention of including it in my book:
The Pursuit of Destiny: A History of Prediction
It ended up not making into my book, but I thought I would share it for the very first time.

Paul thank you for releasing this totally awesome tale....would have liked one of the characters to be a female notable......still, I felt among these guys, just listening in.THANK YOU sincerely in sharing with us....I will be re-telling and re-reading this story to many.
