where creative minds can interact

“So inept at twisted words and crooked deeds, it was if I slept and dreamt” a line from Edna St.Vincent Millay's poem “I forgot for a moment.” To most these words seem as a reference to a sweet peaceful dream world. However, to people who have come, face to face, with true soul ripping fear, any type of actual sleep is better than a living nightmare. Vincent is referring to a dream in the sense that we actually have some control over what is going to develop. Rather reality; is where we wake up to a land where there is little control over your life, because of the actions of others. Leading to the destruction of any type of joy in reality; a fear so deep that when awake your heart starts to hurt, stomach locks up rejecting everything and spontaneous fevers unable you to move. To fear like that, any dream especially a lovely dream is a welcome experience to reality. That is what sleep is to me.
