where creative minds can interact

strange faces illuminate the air, unusual smells fill the room, faded floors and exposed brick, old chairs blend with new ideas strange lighting spins on the celing, thurst for water becomes a dream, small crowd gathers, unusual space to express art, the kind you'd find in fiction, Green then brown then brick solid color, oposit a wall filled with book and picture, a distant voice heard through the crowd, a repeated story heard, familier ground in an unfamilier town, heavy feet shake the floor, long strides cover it with purpose, few sit and stare, most converse, it feels as thougha dream world entered my reality, someone snaps her fingers to a tune unknown, screaching tables wable as they try to steadty, the room that was strange, becomes slightly more familer, the group asembles into a class room.

you did well in capturing the commotion of gather students ... reminded me of a math class in college. I wanted to scream every time we met because of all the noise but especially the one person behind me who insisted on smacking and popping their gum!

I wrote this, when I was visiting a place in Philly.
