Thank you VERY much! I like writing all forms of poetry, but I dearly love haiku because it forces the distillation of an idea into a concentrated form. And I hope you continue to find some gems.
I just finished my first reading of your Haiku project to date. They all are charming, many are brilliant and a few are small miracles. My wonder of them is heightened by my memory of a poetry class I took many years ago. One week's assignment was to write a sonnet and a haiku. I discovered that I could create the sonnet form almost in my sleep; my meter and rhyming style seemed locked in the Renaissance era. But the haiku, so compact and briefly complete seem incompatible with my Celtic tendencies. I look forward to finding new gems in your poetry.
