Thanks all. My sister and I set out every spring to find the best fields of bluebonnets that haven't yet been trampled by brides and babies. We'd given up, called it quits, and stopped at our favorite burger joint late in the afternoon. On our way home we drove "the old way" out of town and discovered the biggest, deepest bluebonnets we'd ever seen. Well, what else? Nobody's been buried here in a long, long time!

What a terrific shot on so many levels. The bluebonnets are beautiful, and all around the headstone. It's absolutely beautiful.

How's the old song go? "Where have all the soldiers gone? Gone to graveyards, every one." This is an exquisite shot!
