Should have qualified the photo - it was taken in 2007 and we've not had a bloom like that since. Maybe this year. We get a few Indian Paintbrushes here as well but I miss the huge fields of them like down in the Hill country.

Now this is spectacular! Thanks for sharing. I live north of Houston. The Indian Paintbrushes have popped up, but I'm not seeing any bluebonnets yet. I'm sure in the next day or two.
