Me too Jodie. I've never been as exhausted, or as happy, as when I was gardening. Now I'm living in a town home with only front-porch flowers. Something is definitely missing. I also love the city but only to visit. Physical toil can be very good for the soul.

neccessities  of   gardens/ woods....the kind of  "work"  that  takes  hours  daily,but is so fulfilling  to me....  I  have   vascillating  thoughts   if  I am a "country mouse  or   a city mouse", like the story goes .thanks for sharing.
