a big late June storm came through West Philadelphia, Clark Park was hit hard by 75 mph winds. This was taken 1 hour after the storm hit, the temperature was rising back to the high 90's and the air was filled with steamy haze.

This tree stood as a silent witness to so much history, tragedy, happiness, war and peace. Now, felled in a fight it could not win, awaits the next phase, taking all it's secrets to another plane.
