CHRIS KNIGHT – North Dakota

Chris is a singer-songwriter from Slaughters, Kentucky… who asked for his first guitar at age three.  Known for standing firmly behind the common working man, with his songs often reflecting the struggles and pitfalls we all face in life.  North Dakota is a tragic story about a man who comes home to find his woman not at home, and fears her lost in a ferocious snow storm.  He then finds her body in the Spring thaw, confirming his worst thoughts.  Chris’ songs are often dark and haunting while beautiful and enthralling.

Oh yeah, Jonathan Byrd is a must hear live.  Like Kristin, I've known him for years and got to hear a whole show with him and Cris Kokesh a couple of months ago.  They were great.

Jonathan Byrd.  I've loved him for a long while but have only rarely had the chance to hear a full show.  But I did a couple of weeks ago and he is an absolute must.  Don't walk, RUN, for tickets the next time he's in your town.  The writing is exquisite, and his mastery of guiding a show is sublime.
