Are you lonesome tonight,
Do you miss me tonight?
Are you sorry we drifted apart?
Does your memory stray to a brighter sunny day
When I kissed you and called you sweetheart?
Do the chairs in your parlor seem empty and bare?
Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there?
Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again?
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight? (Turk/Handman)

First I was afraid
I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live
without you by my side
But I spent so many nights
thinking how you did me wrong
I grew strong
I learned how to carry on
and so you're back
from outer space
I just walked in to find you here
with that sad look upon your face
I should have changed my stupid lock
I should have made you leave your key
If I had known for just one second
you'd be back to bother me (gloria gaynor)

" I'm already gone,
feelin' strong.
I will sing this victory song,
'cause I'm already gone." (Eagles)

Now the coffee's strong
And the fruit's all wrong
And my wakeup call's for somebody else
And the TV's hoax and neurosis jokes
Always keep my laughing at myself
And I laugh a lot that's what I do
And I learn the things I never knew
And I see canyons I see caverns
I see border roadside taverns
And I am held captive by the big blue sky above me
I am held captive only by the big blue sky
I am held captive by the big blue sky above me (shawn mullins)

Tangerine she is all they claim
With her eyes so light & lips as bright as flame (Heln O'connel)
(I messed up on the "Stars" Lyric...sorry)

Stars they come & go,they come fast or slow and they go like the last light r the sun
And all you see is glory
oh, but it gets lonely there when there,s no one here to share to share
You can shake it away

Some people have you would want to see
And so they put it on display
Some people play a fine guitar
I could listen to them play all day (Janis Ian)

There's a ring around the moon
tonight
And a chill in the air
And a fire in the stars that
hang -- so near;
There's a sound in the wind that
blows
Through the wild mountain holds
Like the sighs of a thousand crying
souls;
There's a time when the traveller
is fated to find
That insight has turned his gaze
behind
And the steps taken yesterday
Will beckon again
And lead to his weary journey's end - "In The Passage" (Daniel Fogelberg)

Walking slow down the avenue, through my old neighborhood,
Don't know why I'm happy, got no reason to feel this good,
Maybe it's because I'm all alone, and I've got no place to go,
Everywhere I look I see another person I'll never know..." - "Walking Slow" (Jackson Browne)

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence (paul simon)
