"[Heaven knows] What kind of fool I am,
[Heaven knows] Why you take an eye for an eye,
[Heaven knows] What comes over me,
You were pumping iron as I was pumping irony." (Robert Plant)

In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking
now, heaven knows, anything goes
the world has gone mad today & good's bad today& back's white today
And day's night today And all guys today who women prize today
Are just silly Gigolos
So though I'm not a great romancer I know that you're bound to answer when I propose
Anything goes (Colr Porter)

Baubles, bangles, hear how they jing, jinga-linga
Baubles, bangles, bright shiny beads
Sparkles, spangles, your heart will sing, singa-linga
Wearin' baubles, bangles and beads
You'll glitter and gleam so
Make somebody dream so that
Some day he may buy you a ring, ringa-linga
I've heard that's where it leads
Wearin' baubles, bangles, and beads (sinatra)

I'm wild again, beguiled again,A simpering wimpering child again

Oh, the smell of the bakery from across the street
Got in my nose
As we carried our ladders down the street
With the wrought-iron rows
I went home and listened to Jimmy Rodgers in my lunch-break
Bought five Woodbines at the shop on the corner
And went straight back to work

Oh, Sam was up on top
And I was on the bottom with the v
We went for lemonade and Paris buns
At the shop and broke for tea
I collected from the lady
And I cleaned the fanlight inside-out
I was blowing saxophone on the weekend
In that down joint.

What's my line?
I'm happy cleaning windows
Take my time
I'll see you when my love grows
Baby don't let it slide
I'm a working man in my prime
Cleaning windows (number thirty-six)

"Oooh child,
things are gonna get easier,
oooh child,
things are gonna get brighter too
Oooh child,
things are gonna get easier,
oooh child,
things are gonna get brighter." (The Five Stairsteps)

Hey child- up & go...
A big world is out there
Waiting for us to
Live in every day
Outside you will find
There is love all around you
Takes you- makes you wanna say
That it's a beautiful life
And it's a beautiful world
And it's a beautiful time
To be here- to be here- to be here (Fisher)

Don't worry about a thing
cause every little thing's gonna be all right
Don't worry about a thing
"cause every little thing's gonna be all right
Woke up this morning rose with the rising sun
Three little birds were on my door step?
Singing sweet songs
Melodies sure & true
This is my message to you u u

Why worry, there should be laughter after the pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now
Baby when I get down I turn to you
And you make sense of what I do
I know it isn't hard to say
But baby just when this world seems mean and cold
Our love comes shining red and gold
And all the rest is by the way (Dire Straits)
