Cheer up my brothers, cheer up my sisters
Cheer up my momma too, lord
Cheer up my father, let me say
I know it won't be long
That change has got to come
That change has got to come
And I know that it won't be long
We've been down in captivity [captivity] so long, so long
If we unite then we will be free [we will be free]
so strong, so strong, come I want you to
Cheer up my [brothers] my sisters
[cheer up my sisters] let me say
Cheer up my my my momma too, lord
Cheer up my father (bob marley)

"I love to laugh
Loud and long and clear
I love to laugh
It's getting worse ev'ry year

The more I laugh
The more I fill with glee
And the more the glee
The more I'm a merrier me
It's embarrassing!
The more I'm a merrier me!"   (Uncle Albert - Mary Poppins)

I'll hold on to my freedom
May not be what you want from me
Just the way it's got to be
Lose the face now
I've got to live (george michael...stop laughing!)

"Freedom? Freedom.  Well, that's just some people talkin'

Your prison is walkin'

through this world all alone."  (Desperado - Eagles)

Climb a tower of freedom,
paint your own deceiving sign.
It's not my power
to criticize or to ask you to be blind
To your own pressing problem
and the hate you must unwind.
So ask of me no answer
there is none that I could give
you wouldn't find.
I went your way ten years ago
and I've got nothing to say.
"Nothing to say" - (Ian Anderson)

"Problems, problems, problems all day long
Will my problems work out right or wrong
My baby don't like anything I do-o-o
My teacher seems to feel the same way too"   (Everly Brothers)

Well, I’ve been thinkin’, like you’ve been drinkin’
But, I know thinkin’ is the last thing on your mind.
But, I’ve been hopin’, to get this out in the open.
And hopin’ we ain’t runnin’ out of time.
The book I’ve been reading says we need to work this out.
We need to talk about our problems, if we got ‘em.
I think I’ve got a drinkin’ problem.(lori mckenna "drinkin' problem)

May he turned 21 on the base at Fort Bliss
"Just a day" he said down to the flask in his fist,
"Ain't been sober, since maybe October of last year."
Here in town you can tell he's been down for a while,
But, my God, it's so beautiful when the boy smiles,
Wanna hold him. Maybe I'll just sing about it.
