(sidebar: welcome, helen! good one! ;-)

Wherever we go, whatever we do,
we're gonna go through it together.
We may not go far, but sure as a star,
wherever we are, it's together.

Wherever I go I know he goes.
Wherever I go I know she goes.
No fits, no fights, no feuds
and no egos, Amigos, together! (from gypsy)

Old friends, sat on their parkbench like bookends

A newspaper blowin' through the grass

Falls on the round toes of the high shoes of the old friends

(Simon & Garfunkel)

If they asked me I could write a book about the way you walked & whispered & looked

I could write a preface on how we met so the world would never forget

And the simple secret of the plot is just to tell you that I love you a lot

And the world discovers as my book ends

How to make two lovers of friends...Ba-doo-ooo,hoo (Rogers & Hart)

"I wonder, wonder, whom
(Ba-doo-ooo, hoo)
Who wrote the Book of Love?

Chapter One says to love her
You love her with all your heart

Chapter Two you tell her
You never, never, never, ever gonna part

In Chapter Three, remember
Your meaning of romance

In Chapter Four you break up
But you give her just one more chance

Oh, I wonder, wonder, whom
(Ba-doo-ooo, hoo)
Who wrote the Book of Love?"    (The Monotones)    (No, Really! ;-)

It wonders me,it wonders me

How beautiful a day can be

How gold the sun,how blue the sky

How red & gold the maple tree

Somewhere a breeze begins to sing

Somewhere a bird is answering

How wonderful sweet the melody...it wonders me.   (Hague...Plain & Fancy)

If I had ever been here before
I would probably know just what to do
Don't you?
If I had ever been here before on another time around the wheel
I would probably know just how to deal
With all of you
And I feel
Like I've been here before
Feel
Like I've been here before
And you know it makes me wonder
What's going on under the ground
Do you know? Don't you wonder?
What's going on down under you
We have all been here before, we have all been here before (David Crosby)

"Well, I sat down in my closet with all my overalls
Tryin' to get away
From all the ears inside my walls
I dreamed the police heard
Everything I thought... what then?
Well I went to court
And the judge's name was Hoffman

Ah but fortunately I have the key to escape reality
And you may see me tonight with an illegal smile
It don't cost very much, but it lasts a long while
Won't you please tell the man I didn't kill anyone
No I'm just tryin' to have me some fun
Well done, hot dog bun, my sister's a nun"    (John Prine)

Well I woke up Sunday morning
with no way to hold my head, that didn't hurt
and the beer I had for breakfast
wasn't bad so I had one more for dessert
then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes
and found my cleanest dirty shirt
it's the one I'm wearin'
and I shaved my face and combed my hair
and stumbled down the stairs to meet the day" - (Kris Kristofferson)

I woke up this morning, I had them Statesboro Blues
I woke up this morning, had them Statesboro Blues
Well, I looked over the corner and Grandpa seemed to have them too

(Blind Willie McTell via Allman Bros.)

"I woke up this morning, my baby was gone
Woke up this morning, my baby was gone
I've feel so bad, i'm all alone

I ain't got nobody, stayn' home with me
I ain't got nobody, stayn' home with me
My baby she's gone, i'm in misery"       (B.B. King)
