"A Return to the People: Relfections on 9/11"

(ATLANTA - 11 September 2011) Taking stock of ourselves is dirty work. But on a day like today, the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, it’s the best job we can undertake.

The attacks were ghastly and altering, changing our country’s composition down to its DNA. But what we did in response trumps even those dastardly deeds: we gave ourselves over to the very “evil” that attacked us in the first place.

“Pride”…

Hey Will,
I guess I need to know some specifics about the donated work. Am I responsible for it's physical production or does ARTvision take care of that? If I must do it, then I'll likely have to dial it back to one or two pieces as opposed to the three I wanted to offer. That being said, I'm going with the more traditional pieces and if my offering is reduced it will be "At Rest" and possibly "Godspeak". Please let me know something soon so I can make my plans accordingly. Thanks, boB

Thanks Will,
I will consider your request and I will think about what I think will work well for your cause. Thanks for your interest in my work and I look forward to hearing from you.

I guess I should have looked at your Blog first anyway. This intrigues me. How is it set up? Are you strictly cyberspace or is there a physical site somewhere that deals with the large format display? Sorry Will, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to doings in the world of cyperspace, so I'll likely ask you many inane questions. Fill me in if you will. boB

Hello Will,
Glad you like my work! I'm always interested in getting somebody else's opinion. To answer your question, I do a little bit of charity work here and there. I'm always looking for a new venue for my work and it appears that you're a little further afield than I usually get. By a little, I mean that I contribute to local groups for silent auctions and such. I live in the north woods of Wisconsin right now, but my wife's company is moving in the Spring to Milwaukee, so there is where I'll be for next year.
What kind of charity org. are you associated with? If you can give me some info and a few more details, I would be willing to consider doing something. Let me know and we'll talk it over some. Later, boB

Hey! So glad to be with you in this group. A basic plea for increased funding based on cultural urgency feels right... I'll check out david's entries. I also want to talk to you about an emotional intelligence blog -- my editor at equallywed.com just approved a monthly column and I want to do one here, too! you rock my world, as always. perhaps there is a tie-in with "write to obama," creative arts and EI. also, did you ever see crash? if not, Donna, let's get after her!
