where creative minds can interact

Like a distant memory
It was brief, but fun

My son and I went to a wedding on Friday, it was beautiful. God was smiling down on us, for the rain stopped in time for the decorations to be set up and it stayed dry for the ceremony. :) The reception was busy, busy, busy and I enjoyed every moment of it. The drive home was long and the car ride scared me because the car is having issues. But, we did make it home in one piece. I am so glad we went. Watching my two friends finally tie the knot and getting to catch up with them are memories I wouldn't trade for anything. :)

Yesterday was mostly rainy and lazy, though a couple friends did stop by. We wanted to have a cookout, but the rain would not allow it. So, we made the best of the situation by plugging in my George Foreman. We played Uno, chatted, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. Our kids were noisy and at times, very annoying ha ha. But in the end, I am glad we had the time together. Time with loved ones is always precious.

Today, we went to church and fellowshipped with other Christians. I always enjoy going there, the people are amazing and I can feel His presence there...it's alive in their hearts, the evidence is in their eyes. I am blessed to know them. Now, I sit at home relaxing while my son takes a bath. Well, I hope you all had a great weekend. Take care.
