‘Makes wide right turns’…

I suspect it makes wide wrong turns, too.

This sign says “Runaway Truck Ramp”.

So, how did they know where to find it?

The sign on the side of the Road says:

‘End road construction’…

A political position I can agree with.

Four blank signs, in succession, on the highway:

Is there nothing up ahead?

Are they waiting for a destination to make itself known?

In the window of the diner:

Green neon ‘beer’

‘Open 24 hours’

then it says: ‘Today’s Special’

… yeah, it is.

No one really knows what’s up ahead.

All the signs in all the world

Are just a chance to prepare, predict, prevent…

Signs are all around us

If we can read them.

There’s a warning sign on my wall at home.

Writ for the immigrants who work in a dangerous trade

In Polish it reads 'Uwaga Azbesty'

Saying ‘danger asbestos’ to them -

To us, not so much

But therein lies the lesson

Somewhere along the line ya figure out

We’re all looking for that sign…

We can understand.
