where creative minds can interact
Recently, I turned the big 3-0. For some time before that, I wavered between wanting the milestone to slide under the radar completely unnoticed, and wanting to embrace it.
Then, I found myself speaking with a friend of mine who was doing this cool thing called Project 34. She had gotten the idea from a friend of hers. The basic concept was that on their 34th birthday, they would start a year-long photo diary project. A photo a day of something, anything that happened on that day. It could be big or small. It could be an event, or it could be something fleeting that caught their eye in a particular moment. The photos don't have to be 'artistic'. The only rule is that they are taken on that day. I thought this was a great idea, and one that would really help you to find something special in each and every day, allowing you to see just how many good things you've experienced. Every day embraced; no day would slip by unnoticed.
So, I'd like to share my "Project 30" with you all. I don't know where it will take us, but I've a feeling it will be a fun journey along the way.
Check out my blog space for each entry.

Yes, Maryanne. I could see why it would be confusing if you didn't know the back story! I'm glad you found this post, and I hope you enjoy the project along with me.
being that I have not been on W as often as I should be for a long time I was totally lost about the your Project 30 photos .... I thought, Okay, she has a new couch and then tried to see what I was missing in the photo or the commentary and then I thought there must be something behind the Project 30 photos because I was seeing a pattern of photos posted everyday. TADA I finally found the answer way back here in February! I love the idea and now all those photo post make more sense. Thanks for sharing this great idea ...
Thanks, Lisa! I'm excited to share it with you all. It would be exciting if others did it, too!
THIS is an exciting idea, Helen! I can't wait to see how this unfolds. And I hope you'll encourage some folks to do it with you!
