A birthday treat: Going to a house concert to see the wonderful Ross Neilsen, a local musician and legend in the making. He recently made it to the semi-finals at the International Blues Challenge down in Memphis. (Where, I might add, that another local musician - Matt Andersen - won the solo award a few years ago. The only Canadian ever to do so).
