Keep the internet open.  We've heard that we need to sacrifice our privacy to prevent piracy, pornography, and now they just want law enforcement to have the right to snoop at any time.  That's what it's always been about.  Please support our Canadian neighbors by denying PM Harper this right to their data.   Thank you.

Here's a link to a video that discusses the issue.  I wouldn't normally post this here except that it is relevant to the sharing activity that we do (within the law), the chilling effect this would have on online activity generally, and the fact that we had a rather lengthy discussion of these issues over on David's blog several weeks ago.
