'HOME' ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY
Hi all,
It's been a long time coming, but the 'Home' album project is now nearing completion, and I am pleased to announce that the CD will be released by Scotland's top folk music label, Greentrax, in October.
I am having a BIG album launch party on Friday 1st October at St. Andrew's in the Square, Glasgow. 8pm. Free Entry.
I will be performing with a full band, including BBC Young Tradition Finalists Shona Mooney (fiddle) and Calum Stewart (flute, whistle). Both played on the album. Others in the band will include my trusted sidekicks Paul Baird (guitars) and Craig Dunsmore (keyboards), as well as the ex-Capercaillie percussionist Wilf Taylor.
Mary Kathleen Burke will be the compere for the evening, and there will be guest appearances from songwriter Tori Mason (Nashville) and Jean Livingstone (sister to Gavin and Pete, Tonight at Noon) in her first 'hometown' gig in over 30 years!!
It promises to be a very fun evening and I hope to see as many as possible of you there. All are welcome!
