To start a dream journal you only need to vision all the things you really want. Don't
worry about whether they will come true or not. You don't even have to
have a fancy journal. My first one was a lined spiral notebook. Fill
your dream journal with photo's of things you like to do, with people
you enjoy being with, and places you have been. Perhaps, you could find
pictures in your own photo albums of things you used to do, but no
longer do, and wish you could, again.
Cut out pictures from magazines that speak to you. Maybe, you would like
to travel to foreign countries, or take a trip across the United
States. Cut words out that match the pictures. Look for symbols of
things that resonate with you. Look for opposites and how you could
bridge them like adventure and still, single and universe, outdoors and
indoors, or up and down. Write with colored markers all the details of
your dreams to add flare.
Think of something you would like to accomplish. Take a class. Earn a
degree. Start a business. Write a book. Develop marketing skills. Teach a
class. Get a new job/career. Travel. Sing for an audience, or speak
somewhere publicly. Complete a project that you let sit unfinished. It
doesn't have to been grand. You can choose to do something simple like
plant a garden, paint a chair, or decorate a room. When making your
dream journal remember to keep it fun. As you accomplish the things you
want to do, save the tickets, degree, or other proofs of your
accomplishments and glue them in your dream journal.
If your looking for an ideal mate then look for pictures of couples
doing things you would like to do. Make a detailed list of the qualities
and a description of your dream mate. The more details the better. The
clearer you see that person the more apt you will be to see them when
they do show up. Believe anything is possible. Dreams do come true. I
met my dream man! I must admit that he didn't fit the entire
description. However, he is a dream of a man and he is everything I
needed.
