endless apps for haiku......T-shirts.... greeting cards...refrig. magnets.......book page markers..... coffee cups....wrapping paper......wind flags.....wallpaper black words on white wallpaper........a collection bounded book.............printed scarfs.........wall art ,cloth or paper ........

I've often said that a haiku is like a written snapshot of ... something. The something can be a scene or a feeling or even abstract (which I haven't done yet, but might). As such, I think that if you're going to marry a haiku to anything else it needs to be something short and evocative in its own right - like a photo or a painting. Even a short video or song requires too much time and attention. But I might change my mind tomorrow.

lately i've been thinking about the word attached to the visual. i can see marrying haiku's to paintings, photographs, or little videos. at least that is what i'm thinking this moment. i might change ! ;-)
