Hovering around flowers.
Buzzing aggression.

About 10 years ago, we rescued a female from a big spider web. She was in shock for about an hour but then recovered and took off.

I LOVE hummingbirds and we have tons of them from April thru October, but they are one of the most aggressive birds alive. I've seen them chase off hawks!

my assorted bird, hummingbird and squirrel feeders are all cleaned and filled....just nutso squirrels and sparrows and chic-a-dees thus far.....hummingbirds have spectacular colors ( I had one "stuck" in the house a few eons ago).....so I got close to it.....I finally had to leave the house with both doors wide open and it left by the time I returned.....
