Last month I was lucky enough to do a 15 day Natural History tour and cruise of the Galapagos Islands. While there are no hummingbirds in the Enchanted Isles, the day before going to the islands was spent in a mainland cloud forest and it was, as one of the places visited was called, "Hummingbirds Paradise." This beauty is a male White-necked Jacobin.
