the weave is GREAT! i just love this shot. you have so many good ones, but this goes in the "extra special" pile

This is the hat of my friend's dad.  His dad has been gone for awhile now, but his hat is still hanging around and so is he a bit.  I did sepia this shot and tweaked it just a little in post production.  I wanted to get the sun fade rectangle out of it, but I just couldn't make it happen.  The rest of the texture is just what the walls and hatrack naturally are. The weave of the hat kind of tricks your eye too.

great subject. it begs to know what the story is behind someone dropping their hat right there. how'd you get those textures? did you sepia this???
