Thanks Kim, He is a handsome fellow. Unfortunately he hangs out a lot on the corner of Procrastination Pkwy. and Doubt Alley. It's kind of a seedy, albeit familiar neighborhood, but I'm hoping that the Move On With a Purpose police will run his non-bumping ass out of there eventually. I really need to collect photos of all the other sketches of him that are floating around out there. Don't discount your doodling, Kim. A lot of doodles are responsible for a lot of really good ideas in this world. Essentially that's all Ehf was in the beginning. He wasn't anything more than a scribble on a scratch pad until I got out of the military. Shame on me for not trying to push him into something real a little sooner. Here's hoping that I can still do that. I hope your day is going well. I've got high winds and rain and Kathy is in the field a little further south, so it's kind of nervous making weather up here. I just hope the whirly-winds don't come calling!

I love the idea of illustrating a book. Wow....you are so talented! Not surprised, but rather envious. My doodling is the extent of my ability to create anything by hand. I LOVE your frog with wings. So much personality.
Actually, it's been years since a picked up a pencil. This was done back in the early 80s. My mother always politely reminds me that I could still go back to doing more of it. I suppose she's right. I just need to be inspired. As for your thought on a book illustration, I have thought for years about turning Frog With Wings into an illustrated children's book. It could still happen I suppose. Time will tell, it always does.
