How very true!  I love to find the minutia in the world and let other folks see it.  I don't know if I ever told you or not, but Wendel happens to be my scarecrow ;-)

then i must be weird too, because i really like stuff like this. isn't this the stuff our eye focuses on sometimes?? i'll catch myself staring at things that are not normally the subject of a photograph. right now i'm staring at the holes on the earpiece of some headphones. we're not always looking at landscapes!
