No offense was taken or seen or...... sometimes my PhD in sarcasm and my Doctorate of Smart Ass get me in trouble as others might not grasp it before they know me well. By chance of birth, I am American. I need to put up a picture of me for my Wiffledust profile so you, and all, can see I am an old coot as well, an old American coot :)

Yes, an American, as opposed to an anti-American, Coot. No matter how often I visit their breeding areas at Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge or Soldier's Home Lake State Wildlife Area, I never tire of them. Their breeding and territorial displays are at times comical as they charge through the water and those red eyes .... those red eyes ....
