really? so she doesn't need a huge long walk every day??? she is a very beautiful girl. what's her name?
She stays in her crate/kennel most days...no problem, she even gets a little grumpy if you wake her from her nap early. When we (I?) get home from work in the evening, my job is to feed and entertain... Weekends she goes to the ranch, where she gets rid of LOTS of energy!
Completely beautiful!!
:-) my biggest worry is that i couldn't give one enough exercise. i can give one enough mental exercise, but if they need to run on a farm all day, i can't do that....
They are kinda like women...you can't own them, you just gotta kinda hang out with them. She'll wear your arm off throwing sticks, she's 9 outta 10 on tracking animals this year, she'll throw her own frisbee if you don't, and anyone who says dogs don't smile just hasn't seen an Aussie!
i want an aussie now!
A very nice shot, John! Aussies are superb critters! Welcome aboard!
I was just gonna say, I haven't seen many wildflowers yet! This is a wonderful pic! But, yeah, I wouldn't let her hear you saying you're a dog owner. ; )
Thanks! The wildflowers are poised to explode within the next week or two, and may be as great as they were when that pic was taken year before last! I can hardly wait!
ah, before i saw your comments, i was going to ask you if this is an aussie. what a gorgeous girl she is!!! and what a fantastic photograph of her in the flower pile! so happy you joined us here, john. please explore and participate to your heart's desire!
