The colors of this shot are part of why I like it so well, but I did post it in a black and white if you'd like to see it. It's simply called "Budding Oaks'  black and white. I think that's correct.  I like both variations and find that some shots will work both ways, but many are abject failures one way or another.  Thanks for the feedback folks!  It really does help.

i wrote  a comment to this photo when you first posted it, and now i don't see it. but i told you that i thought this was a perfect photo! it looks like a painting, but the spatial composition is just right...there's something so interesting about the photo! it makes me want to keep looking and looking...NICE work!
