How very perceptive of you Sha! This shot is from a day of training. A friend of mine is an EMT/Firefighter trainer and when he asked me to document a controlled burn for him I happily obliged. These guys are actually a couple of Fire Chiefs and are monitoring their volunteers. I love it whn folks can figure out my compositions. Thanks!

Bless you Lisa! I've been asked this before. My fireshots tend to have that quality of light that makes them appear to be painted. My photo entitled "Fighter" is another one. The heat haze lends a watercolor quality to it. Thanks for all your enthusiasm for my work. I really appreciate it.
