I am always looking for another barn shot. They are an endangered species and seem to be melting back into the ago, especially up here in the northern climes. A little sway-backing starts to happen and a heavy, wet snow or a strong wind and bang, they're gone. These are treasures that keep slipping away, so I photograph them whenever possible.

people who know me, know that i search everywhere for "the wiffle barn"....i love barns so much and want to put wiffledust concerts in a very special barn. so your rustic series is special to me. these are particularly adorable with their flashy redness. i love so many types of barns though.something about 'em.

This is in central Wisconsin, but I know the feeling you're talking about. It's a kind of rightness. When we came back from living in the southwest and encountered all the verdant green of the midwest, we were almost overwhelmed, but we also just couldn't get enough of it either.

Love the color palette in this one. Red, green, blue is a rich and startling combination. I remember driving down the red clay roads of Ocala National Forest, bright blue sky ahead, lush green foliage everywhere. This evokes a similar feeling.
