You're family was wonderful to give the fawn a fighting chance!!
When I was very small, maybe just maybe I was 4 my family was out hunting deer for food. Seriously, for food because that is how we ate a lot of the time in the 50s. The family got food but left a fawn motherless :-( We took in the fawn, and of course named it Bambi and raised Bambi until the deer was able to fend for itself in the wild. Bambi was absolutely so sweet and followed everyone like a puppy. I will never forget Bambi and also that once Bambi became more mature he was a bit aggressive and would butt us around!
Yes, they are a wildlife sanctuary. They are taking care of nearly 50 right now!
Orphan?
Yes! Thanks :-)
sweetie!
