Thank you, Lisa...this graceful arc of slash pine on Western Lake is an iconic representation of Scenic Hwy 30A and is a favorite of artists of every stripe.  Justin Gaffrey, a well-known artist in the area, features this scape in much of his work...and it never fails to take my breath away whether seeing it through my viewfinder or standing before a canvas in his studio.

this is fascinating, gini. it looks like a bunch of giraffes from a distance! all twiggy in the legs. wow. is this what it looks like down there? it looks like a different planet from here :-) artistic shot!
